Port Hawkesbury, NS:— Glenn MacDonald, P.Eng., has been appointed Director of Operations for the Strait Regional Centre for Education.
A Professional Engineer and graduate of the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton), he brings 20 years of professional experience as a Facilities Engineer, Project Engineer as well as an Operations Manager in the construction and oil and gas industry.
In announcing the appointment, Paul Landry, Regional Executive Director of Education, said Mr. MacDonald’s education, extensive project management and operations experience provides the skills needed for the provision and operation of safe and efficient facilities and bus fleet in the Strait Regional Centre for Education. “Glenn’s strong leadership skills and knowledge will be a valuable asset in our Region as we continue to work collaboratively with our staff and partners to maintain and improve school infrastructure, transportation services, building operations and facility maintenance," said Mr. Landry.
The appointment was effective Monday, January 29, 2024.
