Good Afternoon SRCE Families:
For your information, I am pleased to let you know the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 955 voted to accept the tentative collective agreement with the Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE).
I would like to again thank both bargaining teams for their leadership and commitment during the negotiations. As I have said on many occasions, one of the strengths we have in the SRCE is our highly qualified and dedicated staff who work hard to support our students and school communities. CUPE staff are important, valued and respected members of the SRCE Team whose work and contributions support student success.
