Occasionally, weather/road conditions and physical plant issues may impact school bus service and school operations.
The safety of students and staff is the primary consideration in the decision to delay or cancel bus service or classes in a school(s). It is a decision that is taken very seriously and is made with the safety of students and staff as the first priority.
About BusPlanner
Student busing information is available on the platform, BusPlanner. The SRCE uses this platform for the communication of bus route notices (bus service delays/ cancellations).
BusPlanner Web
• The BusPlanner Web platform allows families to access their student‘s bus information online including bus route number, bus stop locations and pick-up/drop-off times.
• To create a Parent Account, access BusPlanner Web, click on the Parent Portal icon and then click on Create Account.
• Once a Parent Account is activated, you will also be able to choose to receive bus service delays/cancellations specific to your student’s bus route(s) by email and/or text.
• Please refer to the additional directions included in the following resources:

• Do not make any edits to your contact information as displayed in your BusPlanner Parent Portal Account.
• Parents and guardians will be required to sign up annually for a Parent Account in BusPlanner.
Bus Planner Delays App
• You may also receive bus notices through the BusPlanner Delays app which is available free in your app store.
• This app allows users to select route(s) for which you would like to receive notifications.

Parents and guardians are asked to please ensure their current contact information (email address and cell phone number) is kept up to date at their student’s school.
What does this mean for education partners?
All education partners, including staff, media and community members, may view all current bus service delays/cancellations at SRCE BusPlanner Web or by downloading the BusPlanner Delays app.
