For your information, the Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) has been in contract negotiations with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 955 for the past year.
I am pleased to let you know a tentative agreement has been reached with CUPE Local 955. The tentative agreement will be presented to CUPE members for ratification. I will keep you informed as we move through this process.
I would like to thank the bargaining teams for their leadership and commitment during the negotiations. CUPE staff are important, valued and respected members of the SRCE Team whose work and contributions support student success.
We look forward to continuing to work together on supporting student well-being, achievement and success.
